Love the service been going there for many years and I take my kids to. the only thing is that to make an appointments it takes too long for it because they always busy. but I appreciate the job they do take great care of us. very friendly people nice and respectful you guys are the best eye Dr office I’ve been. Muito obrigada Aida. They accept the Medicaid witch is a good thing will cover for eye exams, glasses even contacts if you need it.

Worked patiently with me for a span of several months
I have been going to Davis EyeCare for many years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. The entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating – from the folks who work the front office to the doctors and assistants that do the actual checkups and tests…I switched to Davis EyeCare after feeling a bit dissatisfied with my existing lenses and provider at the time and did so without bringing over any historical prescription information. Even so, Dr. Davis was more than up for the challenge and worked patiently with me for a span of several months to fine tune my lenses.
I left every appointment feeling comfortable and informed and would say that this is a testament to Dr Davis’s abilities not only as a doctor but as a communicator. I highly recommend Davis EyeCare to anyone who is shopping around for an eye care provider. My only gripe is that the clinic is in Oak Lawn which is far from where I live but again, the Davis EyeCare folks have been unbelievably accommodating and have been more than happy to send me my lenses/glasses via mail on occasions where I have not been able to pick them up in person.

I highly recommend Dr. Davis and staff. Everyone is professional and extremely personable. Dr. Davis is the only eye Dr. who knew exactly what kind of contact lenses would suit my needs for my eye condition. I have seen several eye Drs. before Dr. Davis and not one has made me see as well as Dr. Davis. I’ve only had mediocre vision correction in the past. I can now see close and far thanks to the expertise of Dr. Davis. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed seeing this Dr.

Now THAT’S customer service!
I took a pair of glasses that I had purchased elsewhere to be adjusted, because the place I got them from was run by a bunch of morons (long story). The optician was so patient and adjusted my glasses perfectly. He spent almost 20 minutes with me and made sure that my glasses fit well and the bifocal was at the right height so I could see both near & far. It didn’t matter that I had not gotten my glasses there-they still took the time to help me. Now THAT’S customer service! Next year, I will go here and have my exam & glasses done right!

I couldn’t be happier!
This was my first visit with Davis Eye Care and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an extremely friendly smile and professional demeanor by April. I was then examined by Tim, a very polite and professional intern from Oregon. I went through a series of eye tests with Linda who was also polite and professional.
My visit ended with the assistance of picking out frames with Jason and Jeanette, Who were both courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. Professional is the key word here. Everyone did such an snagging job today. I’m looking forward to developing a great relationship with Davis Eye Care. Thank you everyone for making my visit memorable.

The entire staff made this usually tedious appointment very enjoyable.
After years of boredom with Pearle vision’s overpriced frames options, I finally made an appointment with Davis eye care. Right off the bat, everyone was very professional, and I barely wait more than 5 minutes before they were ready for me (which is unheard of at Pearle vision). The optometrist was incredibly knowledgeable and everyone explained each test and the whole process flew by. When picking out my new frames I knew I’d be that obnoxious customer who had no idea what they wanted. Jason was up for the challenge and threw close a billion frames at me, giving me room to give my opinion, and at the same time using his experience to let me know which frames weren’t working.
While trying to explain that I wanted something classic but also a little something out of my comfort zone, he instantly showed me a pair that I could’ve only dreamed of. Although I am a “driving and TV” glasses wearer, I now find myself wearing these frames all day every day. The entire staff made this usually tedious appointment very enjoyable.

I didn’t have an appt and I was taken almost right away.
Although parking here is not that good, at least their service and employees are! I walked in on 7/13 to look for new glasses. I already had my rx from a previous physician. They were able to order the Coach frames I wanted. Explained to me how transition lenses work since this was my first time getting them. I didn’t have an appt and I was taken almost right away. After the stellar service I received, I told them that I wanted to start coming there for my exams and made my appt.

Dr. Davis is the most knowledgeable when it comes to complex contact fittings…
The most helpful place I have found in the Chicago area for complex contact fittings. Dr. Robert Davis is without doubt the most knowledgeable person you can find anywhere when it comes to complex contact fittings. Anyone can fit no problem patients, The true measure of a eye doctor is when you come with a hard to solve problem, and the doctor stays working on it until you get at least some type of relief. Dr. Robert Davis is that man.

So I have been wearing glasses since I was 18 months old and it was looking as if I’d be stuck in them forever until I linked up with Davis Eye Care. Dr. Robert Davis really cared about helping me into contacts – an endeavor which several previous eye doctors had always given up on. He was great in transitioning me into a pair of contacts I could actually see out of and helping me find the best fit and comfort for my multitude of eye issues (including high astigmatism, loss of power, a hefty prescription and being nearsighted and farsighted). I recommend him to everyone and anyone who has eye concerns and are looking for a doctor who actually cares about helping you solve the issue. Also, his office staff is super friendly (especially Fawn!).

He is a pioneer in his field!
I’ve been going to Dr. Robert Davis for over 15 years now. Previously, I had been seeing an ophthalmologist in downtown Chicago who one day told me that my kerotoconous was “worsening”. Needless to say, he never informed me that I had kerotoconous. I was told about Dr. Robert Davis and thought I’d give him a phone call to see if he could treat me. I will never forget how he came to the phone and talked to me (having never stepped into his office before) and answered my questions and ultimately told me to schedule an appointment. So now I am a kerotoconous patient of Dr. Davis.
His patience, reliability, availability and knowledge have been all anyone could ask for from a doctor. He is a pioneer in his field and I wouldn’t trust my eyes with anyone else. The entire staff have always been very patient with me and my constant questions/concerns/visits/phone calls, etc. for a long, long time and hopefully they will continue to be there for a long time!!! If you live south, or even have to travel to get to their office, it will definitely be worth your trip!!
